I presented Inner Voice Dialogue with Alexandra Milonas, on June 5, 2013 at NASW- NY Addictions Institute Conference on Innovations in Addiction Treatment. Our facilitation demonstration dialogued with an Inner Party Girl and then with an Inner Anxious Self. Both parts love cigarettes. Of course, the problem is that long-term substance dependence effects the whole person and not just the parts that reach for the short-term fix to avoid their feelings in the moment.

National Association of Social Workers doesn't stop in holding a forum or an event that will be an eye opener to their guests. Recently, they had a forum with the theme "Innovations in Addiction Treatment". We still cannot deny the fact that a lot of people are still addicted to alcohol, cigarettes, and other related stuff. If a person doesn't realize that it's about time to stop their vices, they would keep on repeating the same mistake over and over again, which is very alarming!
